Subject: Request for Help with Assessment Costs

I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to reach out and ask if you might be able to help with something important to me and my family. We’re working with Hill Country Neuropsychology, who do testing for things like autism and ADHD, to get a better understanding of [my child’s/my] needs.

The full cost of the testing is $2,500, but thankfully this doctor has partnered with a foundation that covers half of that for families who need it. We’re hoping the church/synagogue might be able to help with the other half ($1,250) or whatever is possible.

I know this might sound a little unusual, but I believe this testing will really help us figure out how to support [my child/me] better. I know that Jesus cared about the whole person, not just spiritual but temporal too, and I’m hoping the church can help us with this temporal need as well.
